On-site Work
This is a hands-on, on-site job. The roofer helper is required to work outdoors at the employer’s physical location and travel to various job sites. There is no option for remote work, and tasks must be completed in diverse weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist roofers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems.
- Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for roofing projects.
- Assist with the set-up and tear-down of scaffolding and ladders.
- Handle roofing materials, including shingles, tiles, and metal sheets.
- Remove debris and clean up job sites after projects are completed.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and wear proper safety gear at all times.
- Help with waterproofing and applying protective coatings to roofing systems.
